How is Aptien priced compared to Asset Tiger?

Aptien is mainly priced per seat/user, and you can try for free it with a limited amount of resources. It also appears to be a free version for one user.

The number of resources (number of records, storage etc.) increases with the number of users, but so does the price per user. A large amount of users will cost quite a lot.

Most features seems to be included in all tiers, but intranet and extranet users are included from 30 users and up.

Asset Tiger is plan based, and only offers anual plans, meaning you have to pay for a full year at the time. However, it is free to use up to 250 items.

Please note that Asset Tiger is part of My Asset Tag who sells asset tags, and the software is free for asset tag customers (number of resources depends on anual purchases).

Should I choose Aptien or Asset Tiger - or something else?

Choosing the right software isn't (unfortunately) as simple as picking the cheapest or most function rich one. However, most equipment management software solutions has a free, time limited trial account option that makes it easy to test and evaluate the software.

Also, you should consider factors like if it will become very expensive if you need to add more assets/items or users, how easy it is to use, if there sufficient help resources like tutorials and help topics available etc.

You should also take into consideration that if a solution is free or very cheap, it still may come at a cost (no software suppliers can run their businesses for free).
