AssetTiger is a competent asset register: tag it, log it, check it out, report on it. If that’s the job, it does the job — and its unlimited-user pricing is genuinely hard to beat.
Itefy is built for the step after that: equipment that gets reserved ahead, shared between people and kept in working order. If your team plans equipment into next week, that’s a different tool.

Plainly, because you’ll work it out anyway: AssetTiger charges by asset count and doesn’t charge per user. If you have a lot of people who only touch equipment occasionally, and no need to book anything ahead, their pricing beats ours and it isn’t close. Their prebuilt reporting is deeper than ours, too, and they make the asset labels themselves.
Our pricing wins at small team sizes — a few hundred items and three or four people. Above that, the honest reason to choose Itefy isn’t price. It’s the calendar.
Reserve single items, kits or whole packages on a shared calendar. Conflict detection stops two people claiming the same camera on the same Thursday — before it becomes a phone call from site.
Scheduled service is the easy half. The other half is the fault someone finds at 7am: reported from a phone with a photo, tracked through repair, and kept on the item’s permanent history so the next person sees it.
