The issue status tells where in the in life cycle the issue currently is. There are 3 status flags available:
- Open: When creating an issue, the status is set to open by default. This means the issue is registered, but the resolving has not started.
- In progress (ongoing): When you process of trying to fix the issue starts, you should change the status to In progress, by clicking the Begin resolving button in the Display issue window.
- Closed: When the issue has been resolved, the status should be changed to closed by clicking the Close case button.
