If you have a stack of consumables that you need to keep track of, you can add the stack as an item in Itefy, and then enable inventory for that item.
On the item page, you will now have both a new tab and a new item dashboard box that shows the current inventory status.
Whenever consumables are added to or picked from the stack, the change can be logged:
Add inventory to the stack
- Select the Inventory tab
- Click the Change amount button, then select Add
- Change the number to the amount of inventory added to the stack, add some remarks (optional), then click Save.
Pick inventory from the stack
- Select the Inventory tab
- Click the Change amount button, then select Pick
- Change the number to the amount of inventory picked from the stack, add some remarks (optional, usually what the inventory is being used for), then click Save.
Adjust inventory
If you by any reason need to adjust the inventory number to correspond with the actual stack inventory, you can make an adjustment.
- Select the Inventory tab
- Click the Change amount button, then select Adjust
- Enter a positive number to add inventory, or a negative number to subtrack, add some remarks (optional, usually the reason for the adjustment), then click Save.
