From the item page, you can perform the same tasks as from shortcuts on the main dashboard, in addition to a few extra tasks:
- Create new reservation
- Check out item / check in item
- Add event (maintenance, purchase notice etc.)
- Change condition
- Change location
- Create new issue ticket
- Change inventory
To perform a task (except inventory change), select the Perform task dropdown button to the upper rigth at an item page. To change inventory, you first have to enable inventory in the settings for that item. Then, select the Inventory tab at the item page, then click Change amount and select either Add, Pick or Adjust.
Change condition
An items condition can either be operative, inoperative, or discarded. To change condition, select Perform task, then Change condition. Select the new condition, add remarks (optional) and save. The item is now marked with the selected condition, and the actual change has been logged and is available both at:
- The item page: Click the Activity tab, then Conditions.
- The condition changes page: Select Condition & Issues from the main menu, then Condition Changes.
Change location
When moving an item to a new location, the change of location can be logged: At the item page, select Perform task, then Change location. Click select (+) to choose the new location from a list. If the location is not listed, click the Add new location link, enter the location name and click Create. Then, select the new location and click Change.
The location change is logged, and can be found both from the item page and at the location changelog page. To see location changes for an item, go to the item page, select the Activity tab, then select Locations.
