Change inventory amount

Now we have an inventory of 8 red pens in the database, let’s ‘pick’ an item from the inventory. We can do this on the web app and on Itefy GO.

Imagine you have a colleague called Tim and you give him two red pens. 

Let’s adjust the inventory in the web app

1. On the item’s page, under the Inventory tab, click Change amount and select Pick. 
   
   Pro tip: ‘Pick’ essentially means that you are “picking” the item to fulfill an order.

   

2. Enter 2.
3. Add a comment Given to Tim. 

4. Click Save.

   

Now you can see the change recorded and the new amount in the New Amount column.

Pro tip: When inventory increases it shows in Green. 
When inventory decreases it shows in Pink.

Let’s review how to adjust the inventory on Itefy GO

On the item’s page, you can see the amount of Inventory in stock. Simply click Pick to adjust the amount.

Enter the amount, add a comment if required, and click Save.
