You can convert a reservation to an event. This is a useful workflow if you reserve an item to change a part internally (without checking the item out), and then create an event to note the part change.
To do this:
- Click View reservation on the dashboard or under the Reservations dropdown on the sidebar.
Find and open the reservation by clicking View reservation.
Click Actions then select Create event.
Complete the relevant details in the same way that you would for a normal event then click Create event.
The reservation’s status updates to Completed as event.
