Billing history
Billing in the left-hand menu of your Accounts page collects every receipt and invoice from the accounts you own, in one place and independently of the accounts themselves.
That last part matters most when an account is gone. A closed account disappears from your Accounts page, and once its retention period is over it is deleted along with everything in it. Your invoices are not deleted with it. They stay in Billing history for as long as you have an Itefy login.
Who sees what
Billing history shows the accounts where you are the owner.
If you administer an account somebody else owns, its invoices are on that account's own Billing tab rather than here. And if ownership of an account has been transferred to you, its earlier invoices come with it.
Active and closed accounts
When you own both kinds, the page splits them into two tabs:
- Active accounts — running subscriptions. Each one links across to the account's own Billing tab, where you can also change the payment card and the billing details.
- Closed accounts — accounts that have been cancelled or deleted. Each says which it is, and an account that is still inside its retention period also shows the date its data is kept until.
Opening a receipt
Each row shows the invoice number, date, amount and type. The two buttons at the end of the row view the PDF in a new browser tab, or download it.
A row marked Credit is a credit note or a refund and carries a negative amount — a proration credit after moving to a smaller plan, for instance.
Receipts are also emailed to your invoice address as PDF attachments at the moment each payment is made, so you may already have a copy in your inbox.
Subscriptions billed by invoice
If an account is billed by invoice rather than by card, its invoices are issued outside the app and do not appear here. The account is still listed, with a note saying so. Email support@itefy.com for copies.
