The item screen
Everything about one thing, and everything you can do to it.
The top
The picture, the name, the item's type, and two chips:
- availability — Available, In use, or Booked
- condition — Operative, Needs attention, Inoperative, Discarded
A red Not working chip is worth reading before you carry something to a job: inoperative equipment cannot be checked out or booked, unless the booking is the repair itself.
The buttons
One big primary action, which is whatever makes sense right now:
- Check out if the item is available
- Check in if it is out — the app flips the button for you
- Adjust stock for inventory
Then Move, Condition, and More. More holds the rest: create a reservation, add an event, report an issue, categories, specifications, suppliers & service, edit item, and — for a kit — Audit this kit.
Which of these appear depends on your permissions. If you cannot do something, the app does not offer it.
The tabs

Kits
A kit shows what is inside it, and an item inside a kit says which one. Taking a kit takes everything in it — see Check equipment out.
