Find items ​

The Items tab is everything in the account. Home → Find items opens the same list with the keyboard already up.

Type into Search items…. It matches the name and the unique ID, so a part number works as well as a name.

Equipment and Inventory ​

Under the search box: All · Equipment · Inventory.

  • Equipment is the things you lend out and get back — a drill, a camera.
  • Inventory is what you consume — batteries, cable ties. These carry a stock figure instead of an availability status, and they are not checked out.

Filters ​

The icon at the right of the search bar opens filters — by type, by location, by status. The button shows a count when a filter is on, so a list that looks short is never a mystery.

Reading a row ​

Under each name: the item's type and where it is. Items inside a kit show that too, as In ⟨kit name⟩.

On the right, a label when there is something to say — In use, a stock figure for inventory, Not working for something reported inoperative.

Faster than looking ​

If the thing is in front of you and it carries a label, do not search: tap the round Scan button and point the camera at it.
