Photos and files

A phone is the best camera your equipment register will ever have. Two tabs on the item screen use it.

Photos

Photos holds pictures of the item. Add one with the camera, or pick an existing one from your phone.

• Tap a picture to see it full size.
• One picture is the item's main picture — the one that shows in lists. Set it from the picture itself.
• Photos taken in portrait stay in portrait. Itefy reads the orientation your phone recorded and stores the picture the right way up.

Files

Files is for documents: manuals, calibration certificates, receipts, a delivery note. Anything your phone can share can be attached.

Photographing a fault

When you report an issue, the camera is part of that form — the picture attaches to the issue rather than to the item, so the fault is documented where the work is tracked. See Report an issue.
