Edit an item ​

Open the item, tap More, and pick what you want to change.

Edit item ​

Name, unique ID, type, location and purchase information. The same fields as when it was created.

Categories ​

The account's own labels — department, discipline, whatever your account uses. Tap to add or remove them.

Specifications ​

Free-form facts about this thing: serial number, voltage, capacity, focal length. Each one is a name and a value, and you can add as many as the item needs.

Suppliers & service ​

Who you bought it from, who services it, who made it — chosen from the account's contacts and given a role.

Condition ​

Not under More — it has its own button on the item screen. See Change condition.

Permissions ​

Editing is a permission, and it can be limited to items you created yourself. If you cannot edit an item, the app does not show the option — it does not offer a button that will then be refused.

What stays in the web app ​

Archiving, deleting, moving an item into or out of a kit, and editing many items at once are done in the web app.
