Personal profile and preferences
Your profile holds settings that are personal to you — they follow you across every Itefy account you are a member of, unlike account settings which apply to one account.
Open it at app.itefy.com/profile/, via Profile in the portal menu, or by clicking your avatar in the top-right corner and choosing My settings.
The page has three tabs:
Personal information
- Profile picture: Click Upload picture (or the pencil on the picture itself) to choose a JPG, PNG, GIF or WebP image. It is cropped to a square automatically, so a portrait or landscape photo works fine. Remove picture takes it away again and puts your initials back. The picture is saved as soon as you choose it — no need to click Save changes.
- Email / Username: Shown for reference — it cannot be changed here.
- First name and Last name: The name shown to other users across the app.
- Mobile number: Optional contact number.
Click Save changes when done.
Signed up with Google?
Your Google profile picture is copied across automatically the first time you sign in, so you start with a picture already set. It's yours from then on — change or remove it here whenever you like, and Itefy won't put the Google one back.
Preferences
- Time format: 24-hour (14:30) or 12-hour (2:30 PM) — affects how times are displayed for you.
- Country and Currency: Your personal defaults.
- Timezone: Pick a continent and city. A live Current time preview shows the time in the selected timezone, so you can confirm it's the right one. Your personal timezone controls how dates and times are displayed for you — see Change timezone for how it relates to the account timezone.
Click Save preferences when done.
Change password
Enter the new password twice and click Save password. If you have forgotten your current password and can't sign in, use Forgot password? on the sign-in page instead — see Log in without password.
